Man Arrested Following £190,000 Cannabis Seizure In South Belfast
A man has been arrested after police seized around £190,000 worth of suspected cannabis in south Belfast.
The seizure was made during two house searches on Thursday, 08 September.
The suspect is currently in police custody.
Detective Sergeant McAuley said: "I am pleased that we have taken a considerable quantity of illicit drugs from the streets of Northern Ireland.
"Seizures such as this demonstrate our ongoing commitment to tackling the scourge of drugs in our society."

Man Arrested In Connection With Drugs And Firearm Seizure
A 54-year-old man has been arrested after police seized drugs worth an estimated street value of £15,000 and a suspected firearm. Police discovered the drugs and firearm during two house searches in east Belfast on Thursday and the search of a car in north Belfast on Wednesday. The man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Man arrested following drugs seizure in south Belfast
A man has been arrested after a quantity of drugs were seized by police in south Belfast on Tuesday. An estimated 2,000 Ecstasy tablets, four 'nine' bars of Cannabis resin worth over £2,000 each, and quantities of crack cocaine and speed were uncovered during a routine vehicle stop in the Holylands area of south Belfast just after midnight.

South African man in custody after cannabis seizure
A South African national has been remanded in custody following a cannabis seizure at Belfast International Airport worth an estimated £53,000. Gabriel Jacobus Frederick Erasmus, 48, appeared at Belfast Laganside Courts yesterday charged with illegally importing prohibited substances. Mr Erasmus was remanded in custody until January 28.
