Rise In Patients Affected By Norovirus At RVH
Visitors who are experiencing symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea by the Norovirus are being urged not to visit patients following an increase among the wards at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) in Belfast.
Visitors are also being asked to observe the policy of no more than two people per patient and if possible not to bring children on to the wards.
Brenda Creaney, Executive Director of Nursing and User Experience at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, said: "Although all the appropriate measures are being taken to eliminate the virus. I am asking the public for their help in preventing the spread of infection."

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Over 1,700 Patients Receiving Ground-Breaking Covid-19 Treatments
More than 1,700 patients at highest risk of serious illness across NI have received ground-breaking Covid-19 treatments. The patients have received neutralising monoclonal antibody (nMAB) and antiviral treatments at Health and Social Care (HSC) Trust Outpatient COVID-19 Treatment services (OCTs), or oral antiviral medicine to take at home.

The number of adult mental health patients waiting longer than nine weeks to access key services has more than doubled from 338 in March 2016 to over 800 in March 2017, according to new figures. Ulster Unionist Mental Health spokesperson, Robbie Butler MLA, warned that mental health patients could be coming to harm.
