Man Charged With Murder After Body Found In Lisburn

A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a car in Lisburn on Monday, 26 September.

The body of a man, named locally as Gerry Mulligan, was discovered in the Limehurst Way area.

The suspect is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 29 September.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was discovered in a car in Lisburn. A man was found dead in the Limehurst Way area at around 4.20pm on Monday, 26 September. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A post-mortem is to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Body Of Man Found In Lisburn
Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was discovered in Lisburn. The body was found at a property in the Hill Street area at around 5.45pm on Tuesday, 14 June. Police are currently at the scene and enquiries are ongoing. A post mortem examination is to be carried out in due course. No other details have been released.

Police Appeal For Parents Of Baby Found Dead In 1984
Police have issued an appeal for the parents of a baby boy found dead on the banks of the River Lagan on 21 February 1984. A woman out walking her dog found the babies body inside a green plastic bag at Legacurry Road in Lisburn 30 years ago. A post-mortem examination found that the baby had died of head injuries.
