Germany Beats Northern Ireland In 2018 World Cup Qualifier
Northern Ireland footballer Lee Hodson has praised his team-mates after they were defeated 2-0 by Germany in their 2018 World Cup Group C qualifier.
Julian Draxler scored the first goal in the 13th minute and Sami Khedira scored four minutes later.
Hodson said: "We dug in deep after the second goal and we created a few chances on the counter attack but we have to take the positives out of the game."
Northern Ireland are third in the group on four points.

Northern Ireland group on global biotechnology mission
Northern Ireland is being represented by a group of technology companies and leading university researchers at what has been described as ‘the largest biotechnology gathering ever'. The companies and delegates from NI are attending the BIO 2004 Annual International Convention, which runs from June 6 to 9 in San Francisco.
