Goldmas Sachs Launches New Programme To Help Small Businesses
Goldman Sachs have announced a new programme aimed at helping small businesses across the UK to access high-quality, practical education and business support.
The 10,000 Small Businesses programme aims to specifically address the support gap for small enterprises, helping them to unlock the economic and job creation potential of their businesses.
Participants will receive 100 hours of teaching designed by leading experts and delivered through online and residential sessions led by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, together with Aston University, University of Leeds and Manchester Metropolitan University.
The programme is fully funded for successful applicants and is due to begin in January 2017.
Additionally, participants will gain exposure to a network of professional experts through business coaching and one-to-one advice. Graduates will also join a highly active and unique group of small businesses who provide ongoing peer support to one another and frequently establish B2B trading.
Businesses can check their eligibility at the Saïd Business School website. The deadline for applications is Monday, 24 October 2016.

The Lord Mayor welcomed the Small Business Saturday campaign bus to Belfast on Friday, 02 November, in the run up to 'Small Business Saturday' on 01 December. Councillor Deirdre Hargey joined the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and others to support the grassroots campaign which encourages people to support small businesses and shop local.
