Plans To Expand Hotel In Belfast City Centre Given Go-Ahead
Plans to expand a hotel in Belfast city centre have been given the go-ahead.
Scottish Amicable House in Donegall Square South is to be changed from offices into additional hotel accommodation for Ten Square following a decision by the Belfast City Council.
It is the second expansion of the hotel to have been given planning permission this year, with work already underway for the conversion of the former Lesley House on Linenhall Street into 46 additional rooms. The second expansion will add a further 66 en-suite rooms.
Planning permission has also been permitted to refurbish and extend Boots on Donegall Place. The work will include the replacement of the building façade and the creation of new commercial accommodation on the fourth and fifth floors.
