Man Arrested In Connection With Damage Caused To Defibrillator
A man has been arrested in connection with an act of vandalism in East Belfast.
It is understood that a defibrillator, installed outside Crymble and Sons Funeral Directors just over a week ago, was damaged in an incident on Sunday, 27 November.
In CCTV footage posted to Facebook by Crymble and Sons, a group of men are seen standing in front of the defibrillator before one of the men smashed the glass protecting the life saving equipment.
Crymble and Sons had paid for the machine to be installed outside their east Belfast premises but had to take if off the emergency network following the incident.
However, they have pledged to have the machine back in place and operational as soon as possible.
Posting to their Facebook, Crymble and Sons said that they had been informed by the police that a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
They added: "I would like to thank everyone for their support please consider donating something to our new Justgiving page that will raise the profile of AED in East Belfast area hopefully raising enough to purchase these vital pieces of life saving equipment."

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Wife charged with husband's murder
The wife of a Co Armagh man found dead in June has today been charged with his murder. Jacqueline Crymble, 33, of Edenkennedy Way, Markethill, and accomplice Roger Ferguson, 29, of Cabragh Road also in Markethill, were both charged with killing 35-year-old Paul Crymble on June 20.
