Police Submit Bloody Sunday Report To PPS
A report has been submitted to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) by police after interviewing former soldiers in the Bloody Sunday investigation.
A total of 14 people died in L'Derry after troops opened fire on a civil rights march. 13 people were killed and one later died in hospital from his injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Harrison, from Legacy Investigation Branch, said: "We can confirm a report has now been submitted to the PPS for consideration.
"The families have been informed of this development."

Kevin McGuigan Murder: Man Released Pending Report To The PPS
A man arrested in connection with the murder of former IRA man Kevin McGuigan Sr has been released, pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service. The 47-year-old was detained in west Belfast on Monday and was released by police on Tuesday. Mr McGuigan was shot dead outside his home in east Belfast in August.

Teenager Suffers Burns At Eleventh Night Bonfire
A teenage boy has been hospitalised after suffering burns at an Eleventh Night bonfire in north Belfast. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday morning, 12 July, at around 12.30am in the Silverstream Crescent Area. He sustained burns to his face and body and remains in hospital at this time.

Woman Arrested Over Abuse Allegations At Muckamore Abbey Hospital
A woman has been arrested in relation to allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey Hospital on the outskirts of Antrim. The 52-year-old has been detained in police custody. She is the 16th person to be arrested as part of a major investigation which was launched in 2017.

Police have been cleared of failing to investigate a fake Facebook page which put a family at risk. A man contacted police last year after a false Facebook profile was set up in his name, containing his home address, photos and information about his family, as well as allegations which he said could compromise their safety.
