Security Alert In Armagh Ends
A security alert in Armagh has ended.
The remains of an exploded pipe-bomb type device were found, according to the police.
An investigation has been launched after reports of a loud bang in the Primates Manor area at around 1am on Thursday, 15 December.
The remnants of the device have been taken for further examination.
The road has been reopened.

A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.

Ballymena Security Alert Ends
Controlled explosions have been carried out by a bomb squad in Ballymena, County Antrim, after a suspicious device was found under a car. A security alert was declared in the town after the object was discovered below the vehicle, when it was placed on a lift at a garage.

Londonderry security alert ends
A security alert in County Londonderry has ended. Army Technical Officers attending the scene made safe the device which was discovered in a van that had earlier been hijacked by three armed and masked men in the Altcar Park area of the city at around 12.30am this morning.

Tobermore Alert Ends As Device Removed
A second security alert in Co Londonderry within 24-hours has been cleared. A crude device was found outside a vacant property on Main Street in Tobermore on Friday morning. It has been suggested that the device may have been thrown at the house but failed to go off. The alert began around 7.
