Traffic Warning Ahead Of Marvel Universe Live

Visitors attending the Marvel Universe Live event at the SSE Arena in Belfast are being warned to allow extra time for their journey as traffic delays in east Belfast are expected.

The shows begin on Thursday, 12 January, and run until, Sunday, 15 January.

The SSE arena is urging people to use public transport or share a car with others attending the event if possible.

A spokesperson said: "Drivers are advised that any vehicle which is parked illegally on Double Yellow Lines, at Police No Waiting Cones or where Signage prohibits parking is likely to be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice.

"All shows will start sharply as per the ticketed show time. Please check the time and date on your tickets before the show to ensure you attend the correct one and avoid disappointment. Due to high demand we will not be able to accommodate anyone who arrives for the wrong show."
