Motorists Warned To Take Care Following Heavy Snow Fall In NI
Motorists are being warned to take care on the roads following heavy snow fall in some areas of Northern Ireland.
Temperatures plummeted to -1 degrees overnight leaving ice on the roads.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "We don't need much snow and ice for our wee country to grind to a halt!
"Leave extra time for your journey.
"Get out and clear your cars.
"Slow down, not all ice can be seen.
"If you are running late, then arrive late! It's better to be a few minutes tardy than never to arrive at all!
"As always, we will be out there trying to help as best we can! If you need us or any of the other Emergency services! You know how to reach us!"
