Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Drugs Offences
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after cannabis plants were discovered at a house in the Shankill area in Belfast.
Detectives stopped a car in the Peter's Hill area on Wednesday, 01 February, which led to a house being searched in Brown Street.
The PSNI found cannabis plants and drugs and drugs paraphernalia at the property.
The men, aged 23 and 29, have been detained on suspicion of drugs offences.

Police in L'Derry have arrested three people and seized drugs worth an estimated £600. The arrests were made following a proactive policing operation in the city. On Monday, 18 November, officers observed suspicious behaviour from a 39-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman in the Strand Road area.

Pharmacist Sentenced For Drug Offences
A 27-year-old pharmacist from Belfast has been sentenced to 180 hours of community service for unlawfully possessing and stealing controlled prescription drugs. Adam Hanna pleaded guilty to charges under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and the Theft Act 1969. The offences took place at a North Belfast pharmacy between January and March 2024.

Three men have been arrested following separate drugs finds in Belfast and Co. Londonderry on Monday. A 38-year-old man was arrested following the discovery of drugs, worth an estimated £50,000, in east Belfast. He was subsequently charged with being in possession cannabis with intent to supply following the drugs seizure at Garnerville.
