Fight Breaks Out at School In Strabane
A pupil has been arrested after a fight broke out at a Holy Cross College in Strabane, Co Tyrone.
It has been reported that a mass brawl broke out in the canteen at the school in the Melmount Road area.
The male has since been released into the custody of his parents.
Alliance Party member Stephen Donnelly said: "Details remain unclear but I hope the situation in Strabane's Holy Cross College is under control and that staff and pupils are safe.
"Concerned to hear that pupils and staff have been injured. It sounds as though a fight broke out in the canteen and it escalated badly, with teachers and students being injured."
A PSNI spokesperson said: "All parents of the pupils involved have been contacted. No serious injuries have been reported at this stage."

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

Two critical following road crash
Pupils in year 12 at Glastry College in Ballyhalbert have been told not to come to school following the death of a fellow pupil yesterday. The 16-year-old schoolboy, named as Matthew Holohan, was killed in a car crash on the coast road between Ballyhalbert and Portavogie. Three other people in the car were injured in the collision.
