Two Men Arrested After Police Seize Drugs In Belfast
Two men, aged 28 and 31, have been arrested after police seized suspected herbal cannabis and cocaine in Belfast on Wednesday, 08 February.
Detectives stopped a car in the Duncrue Street area at around 8.15pm.
Police seized the vehicle as well as the drugs, which are believed to be worth a substantial amount.
The men have both been arrested for possession and supply of drug offences.
Detective Inspector Tom McClure, from the PSNI Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, said: "I believe this invention has struck a blow to the activities of an organised gang involved in serious drug criminality.
"The PSNI is committed to making Northern Ireland a hostile environment for those in their community who are involved in serious drug criminality. We will seek to identify them, arrest them and place them before the courts."

Three men arrested in separate drugs finds
Three men have been arrested following separate drugs finds in Belfast and Co. Londonderry on Monday. A 38-year-old man was arrested following the discovery of drugs, worth an estimated £50,000, in east Belfast. He was subsequently charged with being in possession cannabis with intent to supply following the drugs seizure at Garnerville.

Two arrested following police raids
Two men have been arrested following police searches in north Belfast. Two handguns, ammunition, drugs worth an estimated street value of £27,000, documents and around £17,000 in cash, were seized during the raids, which are believed to be linked to organised crime in the city.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Drugs seized in police raids
Four men have been arrested following police raids in Belfast. The men were detained in north Belfast, Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus, County Antrim. All are believed to be in their 30’s and detectives have said they were arrested as part of a pro-active operation against the illegal drugs trade.
