Motorists Travelling To International Airport Urged To Take 'Extra Time'
Belfast International Airport is urging motorists to take extra time for their journey this weekend as resurfacing work is to start on the A57 Ballyrobin Road in Templepatrick.
The road will close at 7pm on Friday, 10 February, and will reopen at 6am on Monday, 13 February.
It is the main road to the airport and drivers are being warned the diversion route will add up to 20 minutes to journey times.
Traffic in the area will be diverted using the following roads:
Antrim Road > Belfast Road > A26 Oldstone Road > Ballyrobin Road
HGV Traffic: Antrim Road > Belfast Road > A6 Belmount Road > Dublin Road > A57 Airport Road.

Man Critical After Being Hit By Car In Belfast
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was struck by a car near the Belfast International Airport. The incident happened on the Ballyrobin Road just before 4.40pm on Saturday, 20 November. The pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital. The Ballyrobin Road has been re-opened.
