Belfast To Welcome Major Job Fair
A major job fair is to take place in Belfast next week, Tuesday 21 February.
The event is being hosted by the Department for Communities, in partnership with Belfast City Council, at the city's Europa Hotel from 10am to 3pm. The fair is free to attend and more than 70 employers will be in attendance from the care, manufacturing, hospitality and financial services sector to name a few.
The Belfast Job Fair aims to offer people who are seeking employment the opportunity to meet up with prospective employers and apply for work, as well as a chance to find out more about how to enhance employability and learn about the types of jobs that are currently available.

Taxi Driver Threatened In West Belfast
A taxi driver has been threatened by two teenagers in west Belfast. The incident happened in Lady Street at around 11pm on Thursday night. Two males got into the taxi and one pulled the handbrake up and the other, who was in the back of the taxi, had a chain. The taxi driver managed to get the pair out of the vehicle and drove off.

Spirit AeroSystems Belfast (Spirit) has announced a job fair on Saturday, 20 May, in an effort to fill more than 100 vacancies. The hiring event will be at the Spirit's facility on Doagh Road, Newtownabbey, and will run from 10am to 3pm. With an expansion of its operations in Belfast Spirit requires more than 100 new skilled production fitters.
