Man Critical Following Shooting Incident In Lurgan
A man is in a critical condition in hospital following a shooting incident in Lurgan, County Armagh.
At least 20 shots were fired through the living room window of a house in Carrigart Crescent at approximately 1:45am on Monday, 13 February.
A 31-year-old man was in the house at the time and suffered a gunshot wound to his head. He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Police have said that they are investigating a possible link to a sliver Skoda car, seen in the area before the shooting.
It is believed that the car was stolen in Dublin in December, and had fake number plates.
Police have said that they believe some must know the background to this incident. They are working to establish why this man was targeted in what they describe as an "orchestrated, carefully planned attack".
