Former Deputy First Minister Admitted To Hospital

Former Northern Ireland deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness has spent the last two weeks in hospital and is believed to be suffering from a genetic condition, it has emerged.

According to the Irish News he was admitted to the Altnagelvin Hospital in L'Derry due to side effects of his treatment.

Mr McGuinness resigned in January after DUP leader Arlene Foster refused to step down as First Minister over the botched Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme.
