'Do It Digital' Roadshow To Help Businesses In Belfast
The 'Do it Digital' Roadshow, supported by Belfast City Council, will be pulling up outside City Hall on Tuesday, 21 March, as part of the UK-wide '100 Days of Digital' campaign which aims to highlight how greater digital engagement can strengthen small businesses.
Do It Digital is an independent, not-for-profit campaign that aims to highlight resources around the UK, online and off, that can help small businesses take the next step whatever level of digital or online confidence they have.
There will be two digital workshops on board the bus which are open to small businesses from across the city. They will focus on marketing your business online, finding the right platform for your business and creating engaging content to connect with your client and sell more products and services. Louise Brogan, Social Media Consultant and owner of Social Bee NI will be discussing how you can use social media to market your business on a budget.
Councillor Aileen Graham, Chair of the council's City Growth and Regeneration Committee, said: "The council supports SMEs across the city with a number of targeted free business events every year. We are delighted to support to the ‘Do it Digital’ Roadshow at City Hall this month which will offer great digital advice and tips for businesses - helping those take their first steps online whilst promoting opportunities for those already online to engage further and expand their digital horizons."
