Biznet short-listed for prestigious Business Award
A Belfast-based firm has made the shortlist in the Best New Exporter category of the prestigious International Business Awards.
Biznet made the shortlist for the award, which recognised the company's innovation, enterprise and international business acumen.
Commenting on being nominated, Adrian Bradley, Managing Partner of Biznet said: "This coveted award recognises and rewards the efforts of UK companies within international markets. Making it to the final is testament to our commitment to developing export opportunities, despite it being a tough time for international trade and investment."
John Geddes, Commercial Director of the award sponsors, DHL Express added: "We're delighted to be associated with the 2003 International Business Awards. As an international business we understand the challenges faced everyday by companies like Biznet and we believe overcoming these challenges deserves the highest recognition."
The International Business Awards 2003, organized by government body, Trade Partners UK, was presented at a gala dinner at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
Senior government figures, key players from leading city and financial institutions, and the media were in attendance along with the cream of UK exporters.
