Newsagents Robbed At Knifepoint In Dungannon
Two people have been arrested after a newsagents was robbed at knifepoint in Dungannon.
The incident happened at premises on Perry Street at around 7pm on Monday, 27 March.
It was reported a masked male entered the shop and fled the scene on foot with a sum of money before getting into a waiting car at the junction of Perry Street and Park Road.
A 39-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man have been detained in police custody.
High Court Rules In Favour Of A6 Dual Carriageway
The High Court has ruled in favour of the A6 dual carriageway at Toomebridge.
Sinn Féin leader in the North Michelle O'Neill welcomed the ruling.
She said: "The A6 upgrade represents an investment of over £160m and has long been a key priority for Sinn Féin.
"It is a key infrastructural project to help redress regional balance and was significantly moved forward by Sinn Féin Minister Chris Hazzard when preparatory work began last year.
"Today's court ruling is an endorsement of the Minister's approach and clears the way for the work to move onto the next stage.
"When the project is completed in 2019, it will greatly reduce travel times between Derry and Belfast, a development which will be greatly welcomed by the many thousands of people who make that journey every day."
Inmate Dies At Magilligan Prison
The Northern Ireland Prison Service has confirmed the death of a 44-year-old prisoner in custody at Magilligan Prison.
His next of kin have been informed.
The PSNI, Coroner and Prisoner Ombudsman have launched investigations into the death.
Head of the Prison Service Ronnie Armour said: "I would like to extend my sympathy and that of the Northern Ireland Prison Service to the family of the prisoner who has died in Magilligan. My thoughts are with them at this difficult time."

Man Charged After Glenarm Shooting
Detectives investigating the incident on Feystown Road on Monday, 25 November, have charged a 41-year-old man with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and criminal damage. The accused is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 28 November.

Roads Service Ready For Winter Weather
Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd has confirmed that the Department's winter service team is prepared to tackle the current cold snap. Around 300 staff and 130 gritters are ready to salt main roads, while 12 snow blowers are available for deployment if necessary. To ensure a comprehensive winter service, the Department has allocated £3.

The roadshow, supported by AXA Insurance and the Northern Ireland Road Safety Partnership, aims to educate young drivers about the dangers of irresponsible driving.
