Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of Police Officers
Two men have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of police officers in Strabane, Co Tyrone.
A device exploded in the Townsend street area on Tuesday, 21 March, and three officers were "extremely lucky to escape injury", according to the PSNI.
Police searched two properties in Strabane and two men, aged 48 and 46, were arrested.
The suspects are being questioned at Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Two men arrested in connection with a bomb found during a security alert in west Belfast have been released unconditionally. A viable bomb was discovered on the Brian's Well Road in Poleglass on Sunday, 15 January. Police said the device was designed to "kill or seriously" injure officers serving in the local community.
