Man Dies In Co Down Road Crash
A man has died in a road collision in Co Down.
Keith McWilliams was killed in the crash which happened on the Rostrevor Road in Warrenpoint on Wednesday, 03 May.
South Down Sinn Féin's Sinéad Ennis said: "I was saddened to hear of the death of Keith McWilliams on Wednesday.
"The people of Warrenpoint are deeply shocked at such a devastating tragedy but no doubt they will rally around the McWilliams family at this time.
"I want to extend my sincere condolences to his wife, family and friends at this deeply sad time."
SDLP MLA Sinead Bradley said: "People are coming to terms with the fact that a life has been pulled from us in such a sudden and dramatic way. The beauty of the area along the Shore Road from Warrenpoint to Rostrevor attracts an endless stream of walkers all year around, but particularly during spells of good weather.
"Amidst the pleasant surroundings on a beautiful sunny day none of us anticipate circumstances unfolding in a way that would result in the tragic loss of life. "
She also extended her sympathies to the man's family.

Investigation Launched Following Sudden Death In Newry
Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a man in Newry. The man, aged in his 30s, was found in a property in the Old Warrenpoint Road area just before 9.30am on Sunday, 03 December. A post mortem examination is to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Man Charged After Glenarm Shooting
Detectives investigating the incident on Feystown Road on Monday, 25 November, have charged a 41-year-old man with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and criminal damage. The accused is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 28 November.
