Teenager Attacked In Alleyway In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after an 18-year-old man was attacked in an alleyway in north Belfast.
The assault occurred between the Ballysillan Road and Ardoyne Road on Wednesday, 03 May.
Three men are believed to have attacked the victim, who sustained serious injuries to his leg.
One of the males was wearing checked shorts, a baseball cap and glasses.
Detective Constable Arnott said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault to contact police at Tennent Street on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1558 of the 03/05/17. Or alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Man Seriously Attacked In South Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously attacked in south Belfast. The assault occurred at a property in the Wauchope Court area on New Year's Eve. The man, aged in his 20s, is being treated in hospital. Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
