Police Ombudsman's Office Scoops Prestigious Award
The Police Ombudsman's Office has achieved a prestigious award which recognises the organisation's commitment to high performance through good people management.
The office scooped the silver accreditation in the Investors in People Standard.
The Office's Head of Human Resources, David Moorehead, said: "Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.
"Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, which reflects the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures through which results are achieved.
"Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale."

Belfast City Council's branch of the business support organisation Investors In People has been granted corporate accreditation. At a reception in City Hall, the Lord Mayor congratulated staff on the achievement and paid tribute to Belfast City Council for "raising its game".
