Masked Men Attempt To Rob Cash-In-Transit Van In Lisburn

A gang of masked men, one armed with a gun, attempted to rob a cash-in-transit van in Lisburn.

The incident happened at a car park in the Knockmore Road area at around 6am on Thursday, 15 June.

The group of men demanded cash, however they made off empty handed.

It is believed they fled from the scene in a silver BMW, which was found abandoned in the Windermere area.

Police believe the gang then got into a grey BMW.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The incident happened at a house in the Kinnaird Street area on Saturday night, 04 June. The 19-year-old victim sustained a cut to his neck and bruising. A woman who was in the house at the time was not injured.

Police Appeal Following Aggravated Burglary In North Belfast
Police are appealing for information following an aggravated robbery in north Belfast. A group of masked men, believed to be armed with weapons, robbed a property in the York Crescent area at around 10.30pm on Sunday, 18 December. Extensive damage was caused, according to the PSNI. Bus Driver Robbed In Monkstown Estate
A Metro bus driver has been robbed after three masked men boarded the bus armed with a screwdriver in the Monkstown estate, at approximately 19.00 on Tuesday. The gang demanded cash before making off to a woodland close by.
