NI 'No.1 Location In Europe' For Cyber Security Investment
Northern Ireland has been described as the "number one location in Europe" for cyber security investment, with two NI-based firms offering students the opportunity to forge a career in the burgeoning industry.
The organisations are seeking 30 participants for a 19-week training programme which will equip successful students with best-in-class cyber security training, a recognised industry qualification and an interview for a job with either company.
The PwC & Black Duck Cyber Security Academy, which is funded by the Department for the Economy, offers candidates the chance to play a part in this high-value sector which is increasingly important to the Northern Ireland economy. Both PwC & Black Duck organisations have significant growth plans, offering the chance for career progression while developing technical expertise.
Applicants must be able to show demonstrable experience in Cyber Security, Networking, Software Engineering, IT Support, Data Analytics or Application Security or possess two A Levels (Grades A-C or equivalent) and GCSE English Language and Mathematics (Grade C minimum or equivalent).
