Police Appeal Following Attempted Robbery At Bank In Larne
Police have launched an investigation following an attempted robbery at a bank in Larne.
The PSNI are appealing for witnesses following the incident at Danske Bank on Main Street on Monday, 03 July.
A man entered the premises at around 2.30pm and demanded money. He made off along Main Street empty-handed.
He is described as being approximately 5ft 6inches tall, small to medium build and was wearing a blue sports type jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Detective Sergeant Carothers is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Larne on 101 quoting reference number 702 of 03/07/17.

Man suffers stab wounds to arms
A 27-year-old man has suffered stab wounds to both arms during an incident in Belfast last night. Police were called to a flat at St John's Close on the Lagan Bank Road at around 11.30pm following reports of a disturbance. The injured man was found inside and taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Dungannon PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was arrested on Monday, 1st April. Making the appeal, Sergeant Delaney said: "Officers on patrol in Moy just after 11pm saw an 18-year-old man lying across a vehicle parked in The Square, which had a damaged windscreen and wing mirror.
