17-Year-Old Shot Three Times In West Belfast Attack
A 17-year-old boy is being treated in hospital after being shot three times in an attack in west Belfast.
According to police the teenager was attacked in the Downfine Gardens area of Belfast shortly before 11pm on Thursday, 13 July.
Police said that the teenagers injuries are not believed to be life-threatening but they described the incident as a "brutal and horrific attack".
Anyone with any information about the incident in asked to contact Musgrave Street Police Station, or if they wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Man shot five times in paramilitary-style attack
A 43-year-old man has been treated in hospital for gun shot wounds following a paramilitary-style attack in south Belfast early this morning. The incident occurred shortly before 3am at a house in Kimberly Street. A number of men forced their way into the house and shot their victim five times, twice in each leg and once in the arm.

TWO elderly Protestant sisters have escaped injury after a petrol bomb attack on their East Belfast home. The women, aged 73 and 79, escaped injury after a passing police patrol discovered a fire at their home and forced their way into the house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Man shot in west Belfast
A man has been wounded in a gun attack at a house in west Belfast. A police spokesperson said that a caller to the house in Hawthorn Street had produced a gun and shot the man in the side. An ambulance was called to the scene, however the man was not taken to hospital. His injuries have been described as minor.
