Taxi Driver Hijacked And Held At Gunpoint In West Belfast
A taxi driver has been hijacked and held at gunpoint in west Belfast.
The incident happened on the Glen Road on Sunday night, 23 July.
The driver picked up three men who asked to be taken to the New Lodge Road area. There, they became involved in an argument with another man.
One of the men pointed a suspected firearm at the taxi driver and demanded that he drive them back to the Glen road.
The taxi driver was not injured, however he was left shaken.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Two men, aged 29 and 30, have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences in connection with the robbery of a taxi driver in North Belfast in the early hours of Sunday 12 February. The taxi driver picked the men up from an address in the Ligoneil Road area shortly after 00.15.

Two men, one armed with a knife, attempted to rob a taxi driver in west Belfast. The incident occurred in the Distillery Street area in the early hours of Friday morning. The driver, 50, picked up two men in the Arundel Walk area just before 1.45am. The front seat passenger pulled out a knife and demanded money.
