Teenager Seriously Attacked After Belfast Gig
Police are appealing for information after a teenager could be left partially blinded following a serious attack after a concert in Belfast.
The 16-year-old boy sustained a rip to the back of one eye, a shattered cheekbone and dislocated nose.
The assault happened on the Boucher Road at around midnight.
The victim and his girlfriend were making their way to get a bus home when he was attacked, according to the police.
Detectives would like to speak to a white man in his late teens who was seen standing on the steps of a white bus, wearing denim shorts and no top. The man is described as having short dark hair, average build and height and a Northern Irish accent.
Detective Inspector Richard Thornton said: "It is reported that following a verbal exchange, this male kicked and punched the 16-year-old in the face, before another four men got out of the bus and became involved in the assault."

Translink Bus Strike 'Back On' From 17-23 May
The bus strike "is back on", the GMB Union has announced after their members rejected a revised pay offer. The union has said that drivers, cleaners and shunters across the company will walk out for seven days from 17 to 23 May 2022, "causing the entire bus network to grind to a halt".
