Pedestrian Killed In South Belfast Road Crash
A male pedestrian has died in a serious road traffic collision in south Belfast.
The man was hit by a car on the Saintfield Road in the Carryduff area at around 1.45pm on Thursday, 31 August.
The Saintfield Road at the junction with the Baronscourt Road was closed for some time, however it has now been reopened.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.

Arson Attack On Church In South Belfast
A Presbyterian Church has been targeted in an arson attack in south Belfast. The attack happened at the Saintfield Road Presbyterian Church in the early hours of Sunday morning, 24 July. A significant amount of damage was caused and police said "a sectarian motive is only one of a number of lines of enquiry".

Pensioner dies in south Belfast road accident
A pensioner has been killed in a road accident in south Belfast this morning. At around 7.15am, the 78-year-old was walking along the Ormeau Road when he was hit by a van at the junction of Knockbracken Park. He has been named as William Peacock, of Annadale Avenue in Belfast.
