Police Appeal After Two Boys Assaulted In West Belfast
Police are appealing for information after two 12-year-old boys were attacked in west Belfast.
They were walking towards a bus stop in the Andersonstown area on Wednesday, 06 September, at around 4.30pm when they were approached by a group if unknown male youths.
The boys felt something on their necks and one of them fell to the ground, according to the PSNI.
He was treated in hospital however his injury is not believed to be life threatening.
Police are working to establish what type of weapon was used.
Sergeant Tom Donnelly has appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact police at Woodbourne on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 811 06/09/17.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police have issued an appeal to find two boys from north Belfast who have been missing since Friday, 14 MAy. Patrick Hovarth, aged five, and his brother Fabricio, aged 8, were last seen getting into a back Ford car in the Limestone Road area on Friday evening.
