Staff And Customers Left Shaken After Robbery In Armagh

Staff and customers have been left shaken following a robbery at commercial premises in Armagh.

A masked man, armed with a suspected handgun, entered a shop in the Railway Street area just after 9.30pm on Wednesday, 06 September.

He demanded money and fled the scene with a small sum of cash.

Employees and consumers were left shaken, however they were not injured.

The suspect has been described as being aged in his 20s, around 5ft 1inches in height and was wearing gloves and dark clothing.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A woman has been left badly shaken following an armed robbery at a Chinese takeaway in north Belfast. The incident occurred at premises on the Cliftonville Road area at around 12.30am on Saturday. A man armed with a knife threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash.

A pensioner has been left badly shaken following a robbery in Co Armagh. The incident occurred at a house in the Tirmacrannon Road area of Loughgall on Tuesday evening. The victim, aged in his 80s, was pushed against a kitchen counter by the intruder who also stole his wallet.

Workers at a shop in Co Antrim have been left shaken after three masked men entered the premises in an armed robbery. Three masked men, believed to be arraying suspected firearms, entered the shop on the Harbour Road in Carnlough, and threatened staff members just before 11pm on Thursday, 06 July.
