Cannabis Worth £15,000-£18,000 Seized In Belfast

The PSNI have seized between £15,000 and £18,000 worth of cannabis and growing equipment from a house in Belfast.

Detectives pulled over a car and the driver and passenger both failed a breathalyser test.

They searched the vehicle and found eight bags of cannabis.

Both men were arrested for possessing a Class B drug with intent to supply along with driving whilst over the limit and driving without insurance.

A follow-up search was carried out at the home address of the car owner and £15,000 to £18,000 worth of cannabis was found.

Another man was also arrested on drugs offences.

They have been detained in police custody.

Man Charged Over £16,000 Cannabis Find
A 22-year-old man has been charged after £16,000 worth of cannabis plants were seized in L'Derry. The discovery was made after police searched a house in the Waterside area on Friday, 22 September. The suspect has been accused of growing cannabis, possession of a Class B drug and intent to supply.

Drugs & Weapon Seized During Co Antrim Vehicle Stop
A proactive police patrol in County Antrim has uncovered a haul of illegal items, including an offensive weapon and herbal cannabis worth £20,000. A man fled the scene but was later arrested following the incident in Ahoghill on Friday evening, 27 September. He has since been released on bail pending further forensic enquiries.

Suspected Cannabis Factory Uncovered In Craigavon
Two men have been arrested following the discovery of a suspected cannabis factory at a property in Craigavon on Tuesday 10th January. Shortly after 5.15pm, officers received and responded to a report of suspicious activity at a house in the Carrigart Crescent area.

Man Arrested After Drug Seizure In North Belfast
Police have arrested a man in connection with a drug seizure in north Belfast. Police say that suspected cocaine and herbal cannabis, worth an estimated £40,000, was recovered from a house in Jamaica Street in the Ardoyne area. A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene on possession of drugs with intent to supply.
