Residents Evacuated Following Arson Attack In Co Down
A number of residents had to be evacuated from their homes following an arson attack in Co Down.
The blaze happened at a first floor flat in the Drumawhey Gardens area in Bangor at around 11pm on Sunday, 10 September.
Extensive damage was caused and firefighters put the blaze out.
Police are treating the incident as intent to endanger life.
PSNI Detective Inspector Harry Colgan said: "Thankfully, no-one was in the property at the time of the incident, although a number of residents in neighbouring flats had to be evacuated from their homes for a time.
"A number of rooms in the property were extensively damaged."
The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man And Woman 'Critical' Following Crash In Newtownards
Police are appealing for witnesses following a three-vehicle collision on the carriageway between Bangor and Newtownards on Thursday. The crash happened at around 7.40pm close to the junction of Green Road. A man and woman are in a critical condition in hospital' The road was closed in both directions however it has now been reopened.

Homes Evacuated Following Gas Leak In Newtonards

Homes Evacuated During L'Derry Security Alert
A number of homes have been evacuated during a security alert in L'Derry. The incident happened when a man reported that a "suspicious object" was thrown at his house on Heron Way at about 10.30pm on Monday, 21 August. Police discovered the object in the front garden of his house.
