PM Discusses Bombardier Redundancies With Justin Trudeau
Prime Minister Theresa May has held talks with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over redundancies at aerospace firm Bombardier.
Bombardier, a Canadian manufacturing employer, announced another 95 redundancies at its Northern Ireland operations on Friday, 15 September, following the announcement of 1,000 job cuts last year.
Mrs May also said she will be raising the issue again with US President Donald Trump later this week.
She said: "I will be impressing on him the significance of Bombardier to the United Kingdom and particularly to jobs in Northern Ireland."

Bombardier announces £33m Belfast investment
Bombardier has announced that it is to invest £33 million in two aircraft programmes at its Belfast plant. The two projects will provide components for the Bombardier Learjet 40, a six to seven seat light business jet, and the 12-19 seat long range Bombardier Global 5000 business jet.
