Man Found Injured In Donaghadee
Police have launched an investigation after a man was found injured on a street in Co Down.
He is in a critical condition in hospital after he was discovered on the footpath at High Street in Donaghadee at around 2.30am on Sunday, 24 September.
He was found by police patrolling the area and he was taken to hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information to contact them in Bangor on 101 quoting reference 268 of 24/09/17 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Sinn Féin MP Elisha McCallion said: "My thoughts at this time are with the family and friends of this young man who will no doubt be devastated at this tragic news.
"There is a great sense of shock and sadness in the community following this death.
"I would call on anyone with information on what happened to bring it forward to the PSNI."

Man Found Dead In Bangor
Police have launched an investigation into the death of a man in Bangor. The 68 year-old male was found dead at his home in Birch Drive. His death is being treated as suspicious. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.

Man arrested in connection with 1981 murder
Detectives investigating the murder of a nine-year-old girl in Co Down nearly 25 years ago have today arrested a man on suspicion of her murder. Jennifer Cardy was discovered dead by two fishermen at McKee's Dam near Hillsborough in 1981 after being snatched as she cycled to a friend's house on 12 August that same year.
