Carl Frampton Signs Contract With Frank Warren And BT Sport
Belfast boxer Carl Frampton has signed a contract with promoter Frank Warren and BT Sport.
He will pursue a world title fight in the first half of next year and his fights will only be broadcast on BT Sport in the UK.
Writing in the Sunday Life, he said: "I felt that the overall package that Frank Warren and BT Sport were offering me was the deciding factor…Frank’s knowledge of boxing is second to none.
"I'm desperate to kick on and have a fight before Christmas and I can confirm that I will be fighting in Belfast."

On Friday evening, November 22nd, a vehicle was intercepted and searched in the West Bank Road area of north Belfast.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
