McAuley To Join NI For World Cup Qualifiers
Gareth McAuley is set to join Northern Ireland for the World Cup qualifiers against Germany and Norway In October.
Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill confirmed the West Bromwich Albion defender in a 26-man panel for the two games.
He has also selected Millwall midfielder George Saville and Kilmarnock midfielder Jordan Jones.
For the two games Northern Ireland will continue to be without Watford defender Craig Cathcart, who is receiving treatment on a knee injury, as well as Sunderland midfielder Paddy McNair, who is still on the road to recovery after damaging knee ligaments.
Also still unavailable due to injury are Burton Albion striker Liam Boyce and Nottingham Forest midfielder Jamie Ward.

Northern Ireland's dream of reaching the World Cup has come to an end. The team were playing against Switzerland on Sunday, 12 November, and the match ended with a 0-0 draw. Northern Ireland were defeated 1-0 on Thursday by Switzerland in Belfast, which means they failed to make it through to the World Cup.
