Nitec Solutions win European recognition for growth
Following hard on the heels of their third Deloitte Fast 50 list success, Nitec Solutions have become one of just three Northern Irish companies to be honoured with a place in the 2003 European Fast 500, announced at a Gala dinner in the London Natural History Museum.
The annual Deloitte Fast 500 list is a prestigious indicator of the top performing companies throughout Europe based on percentage growth over a five year period. With a remarkable 601% growth rate over the qualifying period, Nitec placed a creditable 220th in the top half of the overall list.
Finance Director, Peter McMahon, said: “We are delighted to receive this recognition. To have made this prestigious list of the most successful technology companies in the whole of Europe is a fantastic achievement for Nitec and demonstrates our ability to not only generate growth but to sustain it over the long haul”.
Nitec specialises in building consultative information technology partnerships with organisations within the small-to-medium enterprise sector. Their growth has been sustained by sticking to their core values of providing turnkey solutions and trusted advice to their clients.
Their holistic approach to IT consultancy has also found favour within the industry: more than a year ago Hewlett-Packard appointed the company as one of their ‘Centres of Excellence’ and Nitec have strong links with a number of other global players, including Microsoft.

Good news for Northern Ireland businesses was the placing of local firm BizNet Solutions in third position in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 Award rankings. Biznet Solutions, an internet solutions provider, develops websites and ebusiness solutions, had an aggregate revenue growth of 923 per cent.
