Public Urged To Be Vigilant Following Reports Of Suspect Device
Police are urging the public to be vigilant after reports of a suspect device abandoned in west Belfast.
Officers are currently working to establish its location, which is believed to be in the Poleglass area.
Police are calling on anyone who has came across anything suspicious in the area to contact them.
No further details have been released.
Teen Sustains Broken Jaw In East Belfast Attack
A teenager has sustained a broken jaw after he was attacked in east Belfast.
The 14-year-old and his friend were cycling home at around 7.20pm on Sunday, 29 October, when an older teenager, believed to be 16 or 17, approached them on Middlepath Street.
He punched the boy in the mouth and knocked out his front tooth, broke his jaw and punctured his lip.
As the two boys left the area they were attacked with stones.
The suspect was wearing a black tracksuit.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
Businesses And Halloween Displays Set On Fire In Strabane
SDLP West Tyrone MLA Daniel McCrossan is seeking an urgent meeting with the PSNI after a spate of anti-social behaviour incidents in Strabane.
Businesses and Halloween displays were set on fire on Sunday night, 29 October.
He said: "Anti-social behaviour in Strabane is now out of control. Thugs routinely vandalise and destroy local amenities and have now set their sights on businesses and civic art.
"There were three separate fires in the town at one time. They have targeted local businesses and Halloween displays. The display at ‘The Tinneys’ in particular was set alight. Those who set out to destroy public property for absolutely no reason need to be taken under control by the PSNI.
"This comes after local hero Pat Gillespie was robbed. If there’s no respect for a 101-year old legend in the town, how can others feel safe?
"Local people are furious and many feel vulnerable.
"I am now seeking an urgent meeting with the PSNI to find out exactly what they're doing to tackle this issue and to encourage a more proactive response."

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a serious arson attack in the Clon Dara area of L'Derry on Saturday, 23 November. Shortly before 8.20pm, police received a report that an accelerant had been used to ignite the front door and letterbox of a house in the area.

Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.
