Leisure Centre Extension & Refurb Scoops CEEQUAL Award
Crumlin Leisure Centre Extension & Refurbishment has been awarded a Civil Engineering Environmental Quality Assessment (CEEQUAL) Whole Team Performance Award.
The CEEQUAL Award Scheme helps to improve sustainability in civil engineering and the public realm.
CEEQUAL also celebrates the achievement of high environmental and social performance.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Paul Hamill, commented: "I am pleased to see the fantastic work, on the Crumlin Leisure Centre project by Council staff, acknowledged by CEEQUAL. Facilities like these are an important part of the community and I am proud that the Council is able to offer award winning facilities to our residents and visitors. Crumlin Leisure Centre is a fantastic asset to the town."

Over £50m Investment Works Complete In Belfast
Belfast City Council has reported the completion of more than £50 million of investment in the city, making "significant progress" in the council's Capital Programme. The key elements of this investment include new staff accommodation at 9 Adelaide, the new Olympia Leisure Centre and the Connswater Community Greenway.
