Mallusk Firm To Remain Open Despite Fire
A Mallusk firm is to remain open following a large fire on Sunday, 19 November.
ISL Waste Management confirmed it remains operational and collections will occur as normal.
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) confirmed the fire has been brought "under control".
Emergency crews are still at the scene and are expected to remain there for the rest of today.
People in the area are being advised to keep their windows and doors closed.
Managing Director Barry Donaghy said: "Our main processing plant will be fully operational today once the smoke has cleared but I can reassure all our customers we will be making our routine collections as normal."

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.
