Man Arrested For Drink Driving In Carrickfergus
A man has been arrested for drink driving in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
Officers attended the scene following reports of a one vehicle crash in the area on Monday, 20 November.
A spokesperson from the PSNI said the driver was "absolutely hammered".
Releasing images of the vehicle the spokesperson continued: "The male driver was arrested for driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs, no licence and no insurance. He is now NOT enjoying bed and breakfast in custody tonight and will be charged to court when he wakes in the morning. I expect he will be in court just before Christmas. Thankfully he didn't crash into anyone else!"

Suspected Drink Driver Caught After Collision In Larne
A suspected drink driver was among six people arrested following a crash in Larne. Police alerted the vehicle to stop, however it crashed with six people inside the car, including the driver. The occupants all made off on foot and they were caught a short time later.

Just one drink could kill and ruin lives, this is the message to drivers as the PSNI launch the annual anti-drink and drug driving campaign. Launching the seasonal campaign, Chief Superintendent Sam Donaldson, Operational Support Department, warned drivers there is absolutely no excuse for driving with drink or drugs.
