Security Alert In Ballynahinch Ends

A security alert in Bellynahinch has now ended.

A suspicious object was discovered in the Lisburn Street area on Tuesday, 21 November.

Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and found what is believed to be part of a World War II device, which has been sent for further forensic examination.

The road has been re-opened.

Security Alert In Cookstown Ends
A security alert in Cookstown has now ended. The army bomb squad examined a suspicious object at Beechway on Sunday, 11 April, however "nothing untoward" was found. PSNI Inspector Michael Patton added: "It is believed the object may be a remnant from the First World War.

West Belfast security alert ends
A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.
