Man Killed In Ballymena Crash Named

A 57-year-old man who died in a collision just outside Ballymena has been named as Anthony McGhee, police have confirmed.

Mr McGhee, from the Dunloy area, was killed in a crash between Ballymena and Glarryford at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, 28 November.

Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

PSNI Inspector Mick Wood said: "An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing and whilst I am appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact police, I would specifically appeal to the driver of a white van, who turned off the main carriageway and onto the Kildowney Road a short time before the collision, to get in touch, as I believe they may have information which could assist our investigation.

"Witnesses are asked to contact police in Ballymena on 101 quoting reference number 1084 28/11/17."

Man dies in road accident
A 28-year-old man has been killed in a road traffic collision on the M2 bypass near Ballymena last night. The man was walking on the road when he was struck by a vehicle. The collision happened just before 9pm on the northbound carriageway of the M2 bypass between the Broughshane Road interchange and the Larne Road roundabout.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Investigate Fatal Collision Near Ballymena
An investigation has launched following a fatal collision near Ballymoney. According to reports, a man aged in his 70s and a woman aged in her 40s were killed when a car and a construction vehicle collided on the Benvardin Road at about 4pm on Monday 16 November. It is understood that the two victims were the driver and a rear passenger in the car.

Young Woman Dies After Ballymena Collision
Police have confirmed that a 22-year-old woman has died following a three-vehicle road traffic collision in Ballymena last week. The collision happened on Friday, 8 December, at 12.15 pm, and involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa, a grey BMW 430D and blue Volvo XC90 on the Lisnevenagh Road.
