Man Arrested Over Terrorism Charges In Omagh
A man has been arrested in connection with terrorism-related charges following a security alert in Omagh in November.
The suspect, aged 36, was detained after a house search in the area on Thursday, 14 December.
A wreath-laying ceremony was abandoned on Remembrance Sunday due to the incident on the Drumragh Road.
Detective Inspector Trevor Stevenson said: "The man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the commission of a terrorist act and possession of explosives with intent to cause an explosion and has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave station in Belfast for questioning.
"Our investigation into this incident is very much ongoing and I would encourage anyone with any information which could assist us with our enquiries to contact detectives in Omagh on 101 quoting reference number 100 12/11/17.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

PSNI Recover Stolen Beer Kegs
The PSNI has recovered £900,000 worth of stolen beer kegs as part of an investigation into organised crime in Northern Ireland. Two men, both aged 55, were arrested on suspicion of theft as raids in Mallusk and Omagh recovered the stolen property. They have both been released on bail pending further enquiries.
