QUB Announce Jobs 'Open Day'
A jobs Open Day has been announced alongside the development of two new Queen's University Belfast City Centre Student Accommodation centres.
The developments in September 2018 will become home to over 1,200 new students studying at the University for 2018-19.
As part of the £70 million investment Queen's is holding an Accommodation Jobs Open Day from 12.00 noon – 8.00pm on Wednesday 10 January 2018, in the Great Hall, Queen's University Belfast.
Richard Robinson, Head of Accommodation at Queen's said: "This is a really exciting new chapter for the University and will enable us to provide high quality, secure safe and affordable accommodation to over 3,400 Queen's students. We are delighted to be able to bring new job opportunities to the local market as part of this investment and ensure that we continue to attract the brightest students to study at Queen's and live in Belfast.
"Our staff are key to the success of the service we provide our students and we are, therefore, looking to recruit individuals who will dedicate themselves to the student experience and provide a welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service. Applicants should possess a positive "can-do" attitude, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer care."
The Open Day is a great opportunity to speak to the Accommodation team, find out more information about the variety of jobs available and what they entail, get application advice and register your interest in specific roles. We will also have colleagues on hand to tell you about our exceptional Benefits Package, Terms and Conditions and career opportunities at Queen's University Belfast.
Some of the positions available include: Accommodation Operations Managers; Residential Life Co-ordinators, Reservations and Reception Advisors; Housekeeping Supervisors; and Facility Assistants. Several of the positions also include a generous shift allowance.
The Open Day will run from 12.00 noon – 8.00pm in the Great Hall, Lanyon Building, Queen's University Belfast.
No appointment is necessary – anyone interested in working at Queen's should call in throughout the day and speak to the team to find out more information.
