Youths Warned Over Anti-Social Behaviour In Glengormley And Newtownabbey
Extra officers have been deployed to the Glengormley and Newtownabbey areas to deal with anti-social behaviour over the weekend.
The PSNI said they are prepared to arrest young people who are planning to descend on the areas this weekend.
A police spokesperson said: "By deal with you we mean, if necessary arrest and take you to the nearest custody suite which could mean an overnight stay at the Custody Sergeants discretion.
"So think before you arrive on a bus looking to do more than just go to the cinema and hang out at McDonald's. CCTV operators are tasked to capture as much footage as they can to prevent those causing havoc from remaining faceless.
"Any offences identified will be robustly dealt with. Together with the local volunteers, BITES and Street Pastors we will guide you to make sure you don't cross that line and commit offences. Remember you are in control of your destiny and it is only you that can prevent yourself from doing that.
"If you are looking to cause trouble expect to be greeted by some not so friendly police officers equipped with various tools including body worn video cameras – so keep smiling so we get your best side for court."

Weekend 'Reflection' On NI Policing Deal
Northern Ireland's main political parties will assess the potential financial arrangement for devolved policing and justice powers this weekend. Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness said "massive progress" has been made during late night talks in Downing Street on Thursday. The Sinn Fein man said all sides were on the "cusp" of an agreement.
